Created in this crucial moment, Changzhou Haike New Energy Co., Ltd. (hereafter say HAIKE) is dedicated to innovation and industrialization of cutting edge technology in vehicle power train-flywheel kinetic energy recovering system (KERS) and aims to be the 1st one to realize massive production of flywheel KERS in China few years later.
As a cutting-edge technology in vehicle power train, flywheel KERS emerged and was developed in EU about 10 years ago. It has higher energy efficiency, extensive application and lower cost compared with conventional clean energy vehicle technologies. After endorsed by Formula 1 in 2009, the development in flywheel KERS has been shifted into express track by some top automakers in Europe such as Audi, Volvo, and Jaguar for commercial application. HAIKE is the 1st one in China (and the 3rd one in the world) dedicated to R&D and industrialization of flywheel KERS. ¡°Recycling Kinetic Energy Propulsion System® (REProp®)-¡°electrical type¡± flywheel KERS is developed by HAIKE independently with self-owned intellectual property (IP) rights. REProp® is an outstanding solution to clean energy vehicle with high cost-effectiveness, low industrialization risk, and huge market coverage potential. The massive commercial application of REProp® shall challenge fiercely and overthrow the monopoly status in deep hybrid vehicle technology controlled by Japanese auto makers. Moreover, due to its advantages mentioned above, REProp® shall be a practical approach to meet the targets in fuel savings, emission reduction and price affordable to global auto makers.
